Is the idea go get around the track as fast as possible? If so wouldn't it be faster not to skid, like if someone just drove around the track without skidding would they have disqualified? And again, if so is there a minimum amount of skidding you have to do, like if someone won, and there person is 2nd place complained to the judges that the 1st place person hadn't skidded enough, would the judges go back and look at the footage and decide if enough skidaged had taken place? So many questions I know, but I am genuinely interested.

I'm going to go right ahead and blame my mate who stuck it on the passenger door. I have never had one fall off a car. Either the suction cup wasn't clean, or the cup wasn't sitting on a flat enough surface. As you know Mr. Unicorn, there is a sharp-ish body line that runs across the top of the door and I was thinking maybe that was the reason? Not sure. Either way, I stuck it on after that and it stayed on just fine :)

Hey mate, the ceramic apex seals are excellent. If you can afford them I would highly recommend them. They are very strong and very light. Unfortunately this engine ingested a piece of a spark plug which damaged the seals, I'm currently building a new engine for it.

how are the ceremic apex seals? does they hold up like it said? and how manys miles is on it? i have a low compression 13na low compression, looking for rebuild, just looking for some advice thats all.

@MrPomsta: It's a mazda 1500 sedan, if that is the car you're talking about. In the video it was sporting the standard 1500cc piston engine, however as I understand it someone else later bought it and put a rotary in it. Very cool car.

yep, another work in progress :) I only uploaded this video as an example of this engine running to put on my ebay listing as I just sold this engine. This rx7 is getting a 13b bridgeport with 48ida weber.

@fardell hmmm the rotary powered Capella is rather rare here in Malaysia. Mostly either use the SR20 (nissan) engine or the 4A-G (toyota) engine.
